District Steering Groups (DSGs) are responsible for coordination of drought management at the district level. The DSGs are composed of representatives from Government line ministries and local authorities, MPs, NGOs, CBOs, and other local stakeholders. They are sub-committees of the District Development Committee (DDC) and are chaired by District Commissioners.
